About Jacob Seabolt

Jacob Seabolt is a senior at University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. At University of Michigan, Jacob is a member of the Michigan Music Business Club. Jacob is currently an accounting intern at Ann Arbor Spark, a non-profit devoted to regional economic development. As an intern, Jacob assists the Finance Manager and CFO in day-to-day operations, such as invoicing, record keeping, and financial reporting. Jacob is the president and co-founder of Kingsley Music Group, an independent record label founded in 2023. At KMG, Jacob is in charge of big picture oversight, as well as marketing management, strategy management, and financial management. In 2023, Jacob was a digital strategy intern at Hour Media. At Hour, Jacob worked on targeted social media campaigns, digital content design and promotion, and event promotion spanning a variety of industries. Since the completion of the internship, Jacob has continued to work for Hour's digital team on a contract basis. Jacob spent his freshman summer as an intern for Blue Chip Partners, a wealth management and financial planning firm located in Farmington Hills, MI. At Blue Chip, Jacob worked alongside the investment committee and financial advisor team to provide equity and market research to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's wealth management services. He also collaborated with the company’s marketing team to create content and promote the company’s industry knowledge and thought-leadership. Jacob graduated from Detroit Catholic Central High School in 2020. While at Catholic Central, Jacob served as the president of the finance club and the membership VP of DECA. In his free time, Jacob likes to make music, play cards, and watch UMich's national champion football team.
