About Jacob Sossamon

As a project manager at West Virginia National Guard (WVNG) since May 2023, I oversee operations across 19 locations and lead a team of 13 who manage day to day activities of over 400 individuals throughout the state. With a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Marshall University, I have a solid foundation in business administration, strategic planning, and effective time management. My core competencies include working as a liaison between the Department of Corrections and WVNG, dictating policy changes and enforcing proper working procedures, and overseeing payroll and strategic manpower implementation for all employees. I also support and implement corporate brand marketing initiatives and promotional activities as a field sales and marketing representative at Techtronic Industries. My mission is to serve my country and community with unwavering commitment, ensuring excellence in every task I undertake.
