About Jacob Steinbach

I am a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, with a Bachelor's degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, complemented by a minor in Sociology and a certification in Public Health. My academic journey has been driven by a deep passion for science and medicine, providing me with a robust foundation in the molecular mechanisms underlying life and disease. My research experience has allowed me to explore the frontiers of scientific knowledge, honing my skills in collaboration, communication, and problem-solving. The most rewarding aspect of this work has been the opportunity to contribute to advancements that can make a meaningful difference in people's lives by deepening our understanding of disease and therapeutics. Over the past year and a half, I have served as a medical assistant in a nephrology clinic, where I developed a strong passion for helping patients with renal disorders. Additionally, my volunteer work in the emergency department has further solidified my commitment to patient care. I am passionate about working within a team that shares my dedication to science and medicine. As I look forward to attending medical school, I am eager to continue making a positive impact in the fields of science and healthcare.
