About Jacob Worms

I am a recent graduate from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) in pursuit of a career in dentistry. I have a broad educational background in the natural sciences, including a major in Chemistry and a major in Biology. With my chemistry major, I selected classes to place emphasis on both Biochemistry and Organic chemistry. My biology major allowed me to extend my acquired knowledge of electron interactions to biological systems. With this being said, my biology concentration was in genetics and cell biology. I am passionate about learning something every day. I do not consider myself to be a master of any one field, however I make great efforts to be knowledgeable in a wide range of science topics. I plan to use my education at SIUE and my life experiences to become a Dentist. I find value in allowing people to become comfortable and confident in themselves. I believe that being proud of your smile is a major factor in developing this confidence, and can have a positive impact on the well being, success, and charisma of an individual.
