About Jacob Zerby

I am a psychology student and a campus event planner at Colorado Christian University (CCU), where I am pursuing my BA degree. I transferred from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where I was a NCAA D1 student-athlete on the men's golf team. My core competencies include team leadership, team building, and self mastery, which I have developed through my academic and athletic experiences. As a campus activities and leadership intern at CCU, I plan, organize, and facilitate events on campus that cater to students with an emphasis on fitness and engagement with student athletics. I work with the event services graduate assistant and other event assistants to excel in all elements of event setup, particularly those focused on the needs of both internal and external requests for events. I enjoy creating memorable and meaningful experiences for the CCU community, and I aspire to use my psychology and theology skills and knowledge to enhance the well-being and flourishing of those I interact with, particularly in the context of Christian ministry. I believe that I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to any team, as well as a passion for learning and growing in the Lord alongside my peers.
