About Jacob Zikusooka

I have, for the last 25 years, been actively involved in the Shipping and Logistics industry besides other entrepreneurial pursuits in Real Estate, Commercial Forestry, Media, and eCommerce. I am also the Africa Regional Director for the Transformational Business Network - a global movement of impact investors and entrepreneurs who are using business to transform lives. For the last 15 years, The Transformational Business Network has leveraged its strong member network across 7 countries to scale the capacity of early-stage entrepreneurs and provide access to impact investment capital. Since then, it has grown into an international movement and leveraged its network to create over jobs. entrepreneurs have been supported to scale their businesses and more than USD 400M has been unlocked in investment. As an ardent Africa enthusiast, I’ve always asserted that the private sector, not government, is best placed to tackle the behemoth of poverty. For the last 12 years, I have also served on the board of Hiinga Inc, a 501(c)3 nonprofit and faith-driven Africa-focused impact investing fund.
