About Jacqueline Einstein

While I love singing and performing, I realized early on it was better to have as an avocation, not something I relied on to realize true career success. I am fortunate to be able to share my voice. I also share my voice in championing my students' success, as an educator, mentor, and collegiate DECA advisor. The completion of my Doctor of Business Administration allows me to say "I am Dr. Einstein!" It has enabled me to pursue my dream of teaching in a college or university setting, transitioning out of a successful career in the financial services industry. My classes are centered in leadership perspectives, interpersonal skills, community organization projects, and career development. My teaching style involves engaging the students in discussion and soliciting their ideas and opinions using activities, and hands-on projects. I am enjoying sharing my own organizational and career experiences with my students in an effort to positively influence their learning, development and career success. My financial services career involved commercial lending, branch management, risk analysis and training. More recently I was a Senior Business Advisor at the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center, coaching entrepreneurs on business, marketing and strategic plans, and assisting businesses in obtaining necessary debt and equity capital. I also had responsibility for developing and presenting business training programs, once again reinforcing my love of developing and delivering courses. I realized that my career path has always included facilitating and educating in different arenas. Commitment to community involves past and present leadership positions in several Boards of Directors including the United Way of Greater Fall River; The Nemasket Group, the Executive Board of the Fall River Area Chamber of Commerce and the New Bedford Credit Union. Earlier in my career I was a founding member/ President of the Women's Interest Network/ Diversity Group at Bank of America. And singing every chance I get!
