About Jacqueline Gray

Jackie Gray, CEO of the Woman2Woman Breast Cancer Foundation (W2WBCF), believes that “to win the battle against any illness, you must embrace each moment.[If you do], there is nothing in the world you can’t conquer.” W2WBCF was founded to provide women and their families with supplementary financial assistance, treatment, support and education while they fight back to wellness. After weathering a devastating 2007 – Jackie’s own breast cancer diagnosis was followed in rapid succession by her first cousin’s diagnosis, and the loss, from the same disease, of her beloved sister – and feeling shut out by the organizations from which she sought support, she began to conceptualize the idea of the W2WBCF. Working with her husband, Kevin H. Gray, Jackie built the organization, a resource that provides institutional support, so that no woman need suffer the consequences of breast cancer alone, from the ground up. Today W2WBCF offers comprehensive, multi-tiered support to breast cancer survivors and their families, with additional focus on early detection and education. As CEO, Jackie draws on skills refined during her years as a teacher to educate the public about breast cancer detection and treatment, and has cultivated a reputation as a passionate and respected advocate. Her intimate understanding of life with, and life after, breast cancer affords a sensitive platform from which she empowers survivors and informs the community in her signature, vibrant style. Jackie Gray’s resilience and advocacy efforts have been recognized by NBC 6 South Florida, the Miami Herald, Ebony Magazine as a power 100 recipient, South Florida 50 most Powerful and Influential Personalities, the South Florida Sun Sentinel, the Jet Magazine, Today's Woman, and many other magazines and news articles, and the U.S. Department of Health. The work of the organization as well as Jackie is world renowned.
