About Jacqueline Laure

Currently: I am passionate about implementing strategic marketing, branding and communications plans for select businesses around the world. I carefully select the people and businesses whose missions and visions I truly stand behind. First listening to the needs and ideas of my clients or colleagues, we then work together to create and implement strategic communications that support and advance their brand. Background: I completed a Bachelor’s degree and MBA at the University of New Orleans after enduring the interruption of Hurricane Katrina in my sophomore year. In 2009, with one year of marketing experience and a collegiate volleyball career completed, I continued competing at the professional level in Europe and secured a spot as the starting setter for two top ranked European teams. These opportunities expanded my knowledge of global economics, advancement of leadership skills, education in several languages, enhancement of communication skills in challenging situations, and the expansion of business-related skills through various marketing positions and coaching opportunities. Next, I held three communication roles at CBRE over the duration of six years, most recently leading the global Diversity and Inclusion communications strategy. My experience working for the largest commercial real estate firm in the world ultimately set me up with the skills and experience to successfully run my own marketing and communications consulting business. Interests: I have a passion for traveling, volleyball (both indoor and beach), and yoga. In April 2014, I completed my 250-hour Power Yoga Teacher Certification and truly enjoy teaching during my free time.
