About Jacqueline Munroe

I am seeking a teaching position in an excellent public school district in the Albany area. I am currently the English Department chairperson at The Veritas Academy, as well as the instructor for English for grades 9 and 10. In addition to my eleven years of teaching experience, I have been afforded the opportunity to develop into an educational leader. As a highly effective teacher and department chairperson, I have facilitated the English Department meetings, mentored new teachers, and served as a member of the Curriculum Cabinet. In addition I have designed units of study in alignment with the common core standards for English language arts grades 9 and 10. Each unit contains scaffolds for English Language Learners, Special Education Students, and Honors Students. I am a dedicated professional who is capable of reaching a diverse population of students. I believe that all children can learn; we just need to find the best way to teach each child. My firm commitment to a quality education for all children is my inspiration to dedicate my studies and career toward that goal.
