About Jacqueline Post

I’m a communicator, both verbal and visual. I delight in transforming complex information into clear, concise content that is accessible to the intended audience. Beyond devising language to convey sometimes complex ideas, I also love the process of organizing information—finding ways to strike the delicate balance between the right words and the visual presentation that supports those words. My career path has wended its way through different industries, but the goal, process, and craft remain the same—research, collaborate with subject matter experts, and write! Simple as it is, this schema has guided me while editing technical documents for a federal lab, writing product copy for an outdoor retailer, building catalogs for an avionics distributor and developing internal communications for a financial institution. It has also informed my most recent work developing internal and external communications at a regional health department. Educated in technical writing and visual communication, I’ve written and edited a wide array of content for web and print, and I am also conversant with the graphic design side of communication. This allows me to work in concert with designers, print technicians and web developers when collaboration and creative solutions are needed to bring a project to completion. A lifelong Pacific Northwesterner, I spend my free time enjoying the outdoors. Depending on the season, I can be found on the roads and trails alike, riding bikes, running, and cross-country skiing.
