My name is Jacqueline Schaefer; I am a dedicated hard working professional looking to spread prosperity through involvement in the social justice, public policy, and advocacy fields. I am driven, passionate, I have excellent writing skills and consider social justice to be my calling in life. I am a graduate from the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers New Brunswick with a degree in public policy and minor in psychology. I am looking for a position with an organization that allows me to utilize my creativity in affecting the changes I want to see in a sustainable future. I have a specific interest in aiding women and children. I am a leader and unafraid of taking risks. During what should have been my sophomore year of college I dropped out to re-center my values and moved to Denver, Colorado. There, I learned about social justice and began working at the age of 18 at a hotel where I learned time management skills, how to handle situations with humor, and how to multitask. After a year, I re-applied to school, and graduated a year early on the Dean's List. I am empathetic, highly organized, proficient in Microsoft Suite, and have training in SPSS. Currently, I am Lead Teacher at Center City Jewish Preschool and working on becoming Director Certified.
