About Jacquelyn Butler

Retired Army Reserve First Sergeant (October 31, 2022) and Corporate Professional (retired in 2016 from Watsco, Inc. — formerly Carrier Enterprise, Inc.), with a lifelong dedication to leadership, service, and resilience. Today, I’m focused on writing, real estate, and investing — combining the discipline and structure I learned in the military and corporate America with a purpose-driven mission to help families and individuals build strong personal and financial foundations. As a REALTOR® serving the Dallas–Fort Worth area, I help clients navigate homeownership and real estate investing with confidence and clarity. I’m currently affiliated with Dalton Wade Real Estate Group, where my mission is to guide families in finding homes that reflect stability, growth, and legacy. I’m also the author of Survival of the Fittest: Single Parenting — a faith-based, practical guide for single parents striving to master time, boundaries, and financial balance. The 2025 revised edition expands on lessons I’ve learned as a single mother, Army veteran, and entrepreneur. In addition to my nonfiction writing, I publish creative and inspirational adult coloring books under the pen name Jasmine Shillingford, available on Amazon. These books promote creativity, mindfulness, and relaxation through art and uplifting themes. Whether leading in the Army, excelling in corporate America, writing for single parents, or guiding homebuyers, my purpose remains the same — to inspire others to live with faith, focus, and fortitude.
