About Jacquelyn Ryan

With over ten years of experience in various roles in the public and private sectors, I am a passionate and dedicated professional who values honesty, transparency, and integrity. I currently work as a medical receptionist at Life Care Centers of America, where I provide administrative support to the healthcare staff and ensure a positive and respectful experience for the patients and their families. Previously, I served as a town councilor at Town of Southbridge for three years, where I advocated for equity, economic investment, and opportunity for all residents. I was the first openly trans* elected official in Massachusetts, and was the Chairwoman of the Southbridge School Committee, and members of the Tantasqua & Baypath Regional School Committees and the board of advisors for the Worcester Regional Transit Authority. I also have a certification in dementia care and I am a notary public, which reflect my commitment to lifelong learning and service. I also worked in Human Resources specializing in diversity & inclusion and compliance.
