3D Draughtsman working for African Consulting Surveyors. Our services consist of anything from Lidar scanning of open pit mines to engineering drawing of as-built state features. Our 3 means of data capture is through Lidar, Mobile and Terrestrial scanning. We can deliver many different products with these 3 methods. Lidar scanning can be used to capture large areas such as open pit mines, farmlands,waterlogged areas etc. It can also be used for volume calculations, building monitoring, deviation of ground etc This also allows us to capture aerial imagery which will then be accurately processed and can be used with the LiDAR data captured. Mobile scanning is mostly used for the capturing of data on and around the road reserve, or along any path you wish. It can be mounted to a locomotive to then capture data along a rail, but the capabilities are far more complex. It can be used for many things such as asset management, traffic analysis, clash detection, alignments, infrastructure and many more. Terrestrial scanning is used to capture data in confined spaces. We use it to capture members in the plant environment that can then be made into a 3D environment and delivered in various pakagese. We can also scan spesific machinery to then disect and output engineering drawings of the as-built state
