About Jacques Lumpkin

My name is Jacques Lumpkin. I Graduated from San Diego State University with a B.S. in Recreation (Systems Management Emphasis). I have 8+ years functioning as a Substitute Teacher, Teachers Assistant, Olympics Coordinator and S.T.A.R (Students Taking Academic Responsibility Instructor.) I am also a former Site Supervisor and Activity Leader for Prime Time Extended Day Program. I am a certified Baseball Umpire, Football Official, Basketball Referee and U.S.A. Boxing Member. I created a Business called Prevention before Detention to encourage At-Risk youth to "workout not hangout." I partnered with my brother and Co- founded Body by Discipline. Body by Discipline got our start by offering a unique brand of fitness to group homes and to corporate wellness partners. It was only a matter of time before our passion for fitness and wellness lead us to partner with local schools to offer the same types of programs to students. Body by Discipline provides onsite group fitness classes for kids of all ages No equipmet, no problem! Our team brings everything necessary to conduct an efficient and dynamic fitness routine similar to what you would find at one of our gyms. I am taking my personal passion for a successful outcome a step further and offering P.O.W.E.R activities for the community and world.
