About Jacques Manset

I have dedicated my 25 year long career to helping clients achieve and maintain their financial independence. I am committed to long-term relationships and strive to deliver exceptional client service. I listen carefully to my clients’ and work tirelessly to implement customized investment portfolios that match their specific goals and tolerance for risk. Most importantly, I enjoy educating my clients and helping them understand market risks and cycles. After receiving a degree in Political Science at UCLA, I traveled the world as a professional tennis player on the ATP tour. In 1986, I began working on Wall Street as a NASDAQ trader, and worked on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange and the institutional equity desk. In 1988, I returned to California as a financial advisor. Over the years, I have had the privilege to work with Thomson McKinnon, Prudential Securities and A.G. Edwards. This collective experience provided me with a diverse set of skills and expertise prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 1998. Throughout my rewarding career, I have continued to invest in my education, I earned the prestigious Certified Portfolio Manager (CPM®) title, a designation that is a collaboration of the Academy of Certified Portfolio Managers and Columbia University. The curriculum for this designation involves an in-depth study of fundamental analysis, option valuation, foreign currency exchange, credit default swap structure and valuation analysis, and asset allocation. I have lived in Ventura with my wife Erika since 1988. I enjoy bike riding, hiking, and reading political and historical novels in my leisure time.
