About Jacquetta Griggs

I am the CFO and General Manager Finance and Infrastructure at Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV), the statutory authority that regulates, conducts, and promotes greyhound racing in Victoria, a sport that annually generates around $650 million in economic activity and over $3 billion in domestic wagering turnover. With over 20 years of experience as a senior finance executive, I lead the financial, infrastructure, and governance functions of GRV and its 13 Victorian Greyhound Clubs, supporting the delivery of the strategic plan and the sustainability of the industry. My core competencies include strategic planning, governance, risk management, financial acumen and reporting, stakeholder engagement, team development, and income diversification. Some of my key achievements include establishing commercial entities to generate new revenue streams, overseeing the acquisition and due diligence of significant asset purchases, developing a working capital reduction strategy, and implementing IT systems and policies to enhance data security and compliance. I am passionate about creating value for GRV and its stakeholders, empowering and developing my teams, and contributing to the growth and welfare of the greyhound racing industry. I hold a Bachelor of Business from RMIT University, and I am a Fellow Certified Practicing Accountant (FCPA) and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
