I’m a therapist, trainer, and community-rooted creative who bridges ancestral wisdom with clinical innovation. At the core of my work is a belief: healing isn’t a luxury—it’s a legacy. As founder of Sankofa Healing Studio, I provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed care rooted in somatics, expressive arts, and justice-centered healing. My work uplifts those navigating oppression, disconnection, and intergenerational pain—including Black women, girls, trans and non-binary folks, men, and youth. Whether in correctional settings, community spaces, or clinical supervision, I create environments where all voices can be witnessed, honored, and supported. I lead EMDR trainings through a decolonized lens, offer art therapy groups within carceral systems, and develop tools—like The Rooted Intensity Deck—that speak to giftedness, identity, and the impact of racism-based trauma. My approach blends EMDR, Brainspotting, somatics, Hip Hop Therapy, art therapy, storytelling, and liberation psychology. Whether I’m mentoring clinicians, facilitating healing circles, or building curriculum, I stay rooted in rhythm, justice, and joy.
