About Jacy Hoeppner

Hoeppner is a skilled engineer with over 18 years of experience in Medical Device development. In his current role as Co-founder & Chief Product Officer at Global Q, Inc. Jacy utilizes his experience as a user of a Quality Management System to design Optiqs360, Global Q, Inc.’s QMS product, for use by other engineers. In his lifelong career at Biomet (later ZimmerBiomet), Hoeppner was named inventor on 32 US patents and listed author on 7 scientific publications. He was a vital leader in the design and development of the company’s flagship product, Vanguard Total Knee System. He has engineering and development experience in multiple Medical Device segments, including Orthopaedic, Biologics, Foot & Ankle, and Sports Medicine. In 2017, Hoeppner partnered with colleagues to co-found Global Q, Inc, a computer software company offering a cloud-based Quality ManagementPlatform as a Service (PaaS). As CPO, his focus is to produce an easy-to-use QMS solution that ensures regulatory compliance without inhibiting the design process, ultimately facilitating innovation and progress.
