About Jad Ghazi

During my years at the University of Waterloo, I worked as a guest service agent at the Crowne Plaza Kitchener-Waterloo hotel from June 2016 to June 2022 where my problem-solving skills were advanced and my work under pressure was manageable.I am familiar with OPERA and OnQ systems in hotels. Moreover, I worked as a part-time tennis coach certified by the Canadian Tennis Professional association for a few years where I learned how to best coach different people of different ages. Moreover, I am multilingual as I can speak 5 languages: Arabic, English, French, Spanish and Japanese. I volunteered at the Ray of Hope Community Centre in Kitchener where I built connections with underprivileged people and this allowed me to better communicate and understand them. I also volunteered for the Salvation Army in the Christmas Kettle Campaign in 2015. Furthermore, I helped Syrian refugees in St. Jacobs as an Arabic translator. Volunteered as a front desk agent at the Kitchener Downtown Community Health Center. Volunteered at a retirement home at Schlegel Villages by helping the elderly with motor skill dysfunctions. I volunteered as a receptionist for a clinic at the Ray of Hope Community Center since 2018. Lastly, I volunteered at the Cancer Center resources and radiation therapy department at the Grand River Hospital since 2018. I have completed my Bachelor's degree in life sciences with a minor in biology in 2021 and I started working at Ontario Health at home.
