About Jada Joyner

I am a passionate and driven student pursuing a degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations at Virginia Commonwealth University. My journey began at Colonial Forge High School, where I served as a Varsity Dance Team Captain and the Choral Social Media Manager, while also dedicating time to various community service efforts to give back and make a positive impact. My core values center on collaboration, growth, and pushing beyond limits—principles that continue to guide me in my college career. At VCU, I’ve expanded my skill set and network through meaningful roles, including serving on the PRSSA Design and Social Media Team and working as a Communications Assistant for the Division of Community Engagement. These experiences have deepened my understanding of strategic communication, strengthened my design and storytelling abilities, and reinforced my commitment to inclusive and community-focused work. I’m eager to continue learning, growing, and using my voice to uplift others while contributing creatively and effectively to any team I join.
