About Jada Pulley

Aside from being born a person, somehow morphing into an extrovert, and regularly going out of my way to build community, I have always been fascinated by people – I literally majored in “the study of humanity”. This interest combined with my knack for spreadsheets and helping things go smoothly suggested that human resources would be the perfect field for me. Shortly after that realization, I became a Certified HR Professional through the Society for Human Resources Management, and the de facto HR director at my current organization, MinnPost newspaper. I also practice performance art, with a specialty in improvised theater. I perform, direct, produce, and teach improv regularly at HUGE Theater, where I host jams and festivals dedicated to queer people and people of color. I am the same person in my professional life as I am in the theater: committed to fostering meaningful connection, making space for all facets of humanity, and pulling the traditionally marginalized into the center.
