About Jade Dolan

I’m a versatile educator and communications professional with a background that bridges classroom teaching, instructional design, and event coordination in a variety of settings. With a Bachelor of Education and Canadian teaching certification, I’ve delivered curriculum-aligned instruction in virtual and in-person environments, while also managing high-profile events and internal communication strategies. Currently, I serve as an Events and Communications Coordinator at the Department of Medicine, where I oversee project timelines, logistics, budgets, and communications for key events and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) initiatives. Simultaneously, I teach online secondary arts courses through the Ottawa Catholic School Board, where I design and deliver engaging, accessible learning experiences using Brightspace. My freelance work further reflects my passion for adult education and instructional design, having created and facilitated training for organizations in healthcare, tourism, and wellness. Whether I’m building an event plan, a digital learning module, or a lesson for the classroom, my approach is rooted in thoughtful planning, creativity, and learner-centered design.
