About Jade Jamieson

I graduated university with a First Class Honours degree in Bsc Psychology and a university prize for excellent academic achievement. My interests lie in mental health, psychopathologies and learning disabilities. However I am strongly interested psychology and research in general. My volunteer work with MIND, Druglink and Urban Access and work as an Autism tutor have strongly deepened my knowledge, professionalism and empathy in these sectors. They are areas I feel very strongly about. Experience in retail and customer service has also improved my interpersonal communication skills.Throughout my BPS accredited psychology degree I thoroughly enjoyed learning about research methods, lab work and academic report writing and using these skills in group research but also independently in my final year. I am also highly confident in numeracy, literacy and IT programs and am organized and resourceful.Overall I am a thorough, objective, attentive and creative problem solver who is also a supportive, approachable and polite listener and teacher.
