I am currently in a senior procurement and operations role, leveraging my extensive background in various facets of procurement and business support. My career began at the University of Liverpool, where I honed my skills in finance and purchasing over a span of ten years. This foundation was complemented by five years of business support and HR experience, followed by a year dedicated to purchase requisition support in central procurement before starting in my current role, My expertise extends to IT and training procurement, process improvement, and a continuous commitment to professional development (CPD). I have completed various CPD courses including stepping into management, providing excellent customer service, process mapping, enhancing personal effectiveness, resilience, and embracing change, among others. I have gained my CIPS Level 4, with the ambition to achieve MCIPS certification. In addition to my procurement focus, I will be undertaking APM fundamentals later this year. My career is marked by a dedication to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to embracing new challenges and driving efficiency within procurement processes. I have played part in p2p work groups for new p2p software roll out testing various uses and provided marketplace support and price uploads with one advanced. I am proficient in all Microsoft apps and have leveraged power platform applications such as MS Forms and Power Automate functions to conduct training and development analysis within IT Services. I’m passionate about leveraging my skills and experience to drive innovation, foster collaboration, and achieve outstanding results in all areas of my work.
