About Jade Marshall-Walker

I am a designer who is constantly seeking to learn and develop, whilst maintaining an individual style and flare. Having studied Interior Architecture and Design, before moving into Graphic Design, I have become competent in various art mediums. My drive for creativeness and finding perfection now leads me to pursuing a career in the design world. I have acquired an awareness within Graphic Design, that the journey from start to completion is more important than the end result. Seeing a developing brand identity and how it changes through progression, shows an understanding of the requirements and clients needs. It is fundamental to tell a story when designing. I am proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft packages and all Adobe packages including Photoshop, SketchUp, Illustrator and Indesign. I have developed my hand drawing skills which, from previous experience is fundamentally important when it comes to communicating design and developing ideas. I have always tried to balance a healthy lifestyle between 'work and play.' I am a sportswoman with a love of hockey and devote my free time to playing on a regular basis. This commitment combined with an active social life, helps improve my communication and determination, with an ability to work effectively within a team.
