About Jade Martens

As an oral health therapist working at both Smiles in Narrogin and with Dental Health Services in the school dental program, I provide preventive and restorative dental care to the rural community. I have a Bachelor of Science in Oral Health Therapy from Curtin University, including adult restorative scope and over seven years of experience in the field. Previously, I worked as an oral health therapist at Dental Health Services, where I was involved in multiple oral health promotion and education initiatives, as well as providing clinical services to a diverse range of clients. I have strong skills in providing restorative care to all age groups, dental radiography, scaling and cleaning including the use of EMS airflow, fissure sealants, fluoride application, and simple extractions. I am passionate about improving oral health outcomes and reducing health disparities in the region, and I am committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered, and evidence-based care. I have a particular interest in orthodontic and cosmetic treatments and am passionate about ensuring equal access to high quality dental treatment to those in rural and remote areas.
