About Jade Mukash

With over 10 years of experience as an artist and 2 years of experience in administration and youth representation, I am passionate about using my creative and communication skills to empower and inspire others. I am currently a Youth Representative at Cree Women of Eeyou Istchee Association (CWEI), where I work alongside CWEI and Miss Eeyou Eenou to represent the Youth in Eeyou Istchee at events. I also work as an Administration Recall Employee at Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB), where I provide administrative support to various departments and programs. I value the opportunity to contribute to the well-being and development of my community and to celebrate the culture and identity of the Cree people. As a Youth Representative, I offer speaking engagements, singing performances, and more, to share my perspectives, experiences, and aspirations as a young Cree woman. I enjoy engaging with diverse audiences and connecting with other Indigenous youth and leaders. As an artist, I have professional experience in acrylic painting, drawing, graphic design, and concept creation. I use my artistic talents to express myself, to raise awareness, and to support causes that matter to me. Some of my recent projects include designing logos, posters, and creating paintings and drawings for exhibitions and commissions. I am always eager to learn new skills and to challenge myself creatively.
