Genetics helps me understand the human condition. Hello! My name is Jade Ramos and I am a Biological Sciences graduate from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I am currently part of a team of individuals that create innovative molecular solutions within the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, clinical, and research and development sectors. I have growing interests in genetic counseling and molecular biology, and have always done my best to put my passion for others at the center of it. I wish to expand and explore graduate programs at the intersection of compassion, people, and precision medicine. However, I am more than just academia. I like to believe at my core that I am a deeply empathetic person. I have as much a desire to spread a sense of compassion, vulnerability, and honesty in every single project, relationship (professional or personal), and endeavor I undertake. I hope you may be able to see beyond the profile and we can connect on a human level in addition to a virtual one. In my spare time, I love to read books, listen to podcasts, run, drink copious amounts of coffee, and meet people wherever they are in their lives culturally, emotionally, and personally.
