About Jade Simmons

Since having completed my undergraduate degree in psychology, my interest in working with individuals impacted by mental illness has been a key motivation of mine. In my most recent work experience, I have been working with older adults, and have seen firsthand the need for further assistance with mental health at older-aged sites. Given my experience working in various environments, I am certain that the skills I have acquired fit cohesively many roles I am given. I am confident with both oral and written communications and have extensive experience working with individuals planning activities and programs for the residents at my site. These programs and activities have been key to helping elevate the rising mental health issues seen in older aged adults.
