About Jaden McDonnell

As a recent graduate from the University of Connecticut's School of Engineering (Class of 2023), I have accumulated over a year of experience as a Construction Technology Engineer at The Middlesex Co. and more than three years as a small business owner. My expertise spans both the technical and entrepreneurial realms, showcasing a diverse skill set and a proven track record of success. In my role as a Construction Engineer, I specialize in Survey and Building Information Modeling (BIM), effectively bridging the gap between the survey and engineering departments. My daily responsibilities include utilizing LiDAR scanning to produce extensive point clouds and line work, flying small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) to create georeferenced models of construction sites (using Propeller Aero), and providing these models to project managers, superintendents, and other site-specific personnel. Additionally, I manage submittals, oversee subcontractors, perform regular survey layout and monitoring for multiple projects, and supervise other project surveyors. With over six years of experience in drafting and design—primarily with Autodesk and SolidWorks—and four years as a Commercial Drone Pilot (FAA Part 107), I am currently leading the development of our sUAS team and resources to stay ahead of technological advancements. As a business owner, I bring over eight years of professional photography experience, specializing in real estate media production. My expertise as a Commercial Drone Pilot extends over four years, with a focus on real estate, insurance, solar installation, and large infrastructure projects. I have also developed over five years of experience in creating construction-grade floor plans and map plans using LiDAR and photogrammetry. Our services are designed to elevate property listings, transforming properties into show-stoppers, helping agents sell faster and smarter. I am passionate about leveraging technology to enhance the construction and real estate industries, and I am committed to delivering high-quality, innovative solutions.
