About Jae Kim
I graduated from University of Washington with my MSW in 2019, and I'm currently the Information and Referral Program Manager at the Arc of King County. My role is overseeing our I&R program, making sure that we serve people with disabilities accurately. As a social worker who has been in disability field for years, I believe these services are critical including education, housing, employment, etc. I believe that social services are a basic need to which all people should have access. This is also why I wanted to study social work – to advocate for people with disabilities and support them to lead successful lives. I want to help them find their voice because they are the ones that face the challenges and they know what they need to be successful.
