Hello! I'm Jaedyn Griddine, a dedicated professional with a passion for enhancing access to knowledge and supporting communities through my work. With a background in library sciences, I've had the privilege of serving as a Library Assistant at Pitts Theology Library, where I've honed my skills in collection management and patron support, ensuring valuable resources are readily available to scholars and researchers. In addition to my library work, I've been immersed in the dynamic world of data curation as a Database Curator Intern at Black Women Radicals. Here, I meticulously organize and curate historical databases, preserving and promoting the narratives of Black women activists whose contributions are often overlooked. My academic journey at Emory University, where I'm pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French, has equipped me with a solid foundation in research, critical thinking, and cross-cultural communication. As a Supplemental Instructor and Peer Advisor at Oxford College of Emory University, I've enjoyed guiding fellow students, fostering their academic growth, and helping them navigate the complexities of higher education. Beyond academia, I've brought my organizational skills and passion for community engagement to roles such as Campaign Coordinator for Elizabeth Fite's judicial campaign and as a dedicated team member at Jason's Deli, where I developed a strong commitment to customer service and teamwork. Fluent in French and adept in various research methodologies and digital tools, I am eager to leverage my skills and experiences to contribute meaningfully to projects that promote equity, education, and community empowerment.
