About Jaehyo Lee

I grew up in Seoul, South Korea, and I have been interested in fashion since I was little after watching a documentary about a famous fashion designer Marc Jacobs. While I was studying at Hansung University, I worked at the Louis Vuitton store in Korea for about a year. At that time, I learned that design is not everything, but also it is important to understand the needs of customers and product display. As I studied and worked on fashion in earnest, I became convinced that I want to work at fashion industry, and I also wanted to study fashion in the wider world. Therefore, I moved to America and have graduated on my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fashion Design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco 2018. In order to gain more practical experience, I worked as a design intern for 4 months at Elie Tahari in New York during summer vacation 2017. This experience taught me not only design but also merchandising and sales department. Thanks to the company’s excellent appreciation of what I did best at the time, as soon as I graduated from school in the summer of 2018, I was scouted as a fashion designer at Tahari ASL and started working as a womenswear fashion designer. Now, I moved back to South Korea to start new chapter of my life. I joined Farfetch as a Private Client Stylist on March 2020. I am the first member at Farfetch located in Seoul, South Korea.
