About Jaffer A Shariff
Dr. Jaffer A. Shariff received his Bachelors of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from K.L.E Institute of Dental Sciences, Bangalore, India (2010) He has a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine (2012), certificate in Dental Public Health (DPH) residency program from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine (2014) and Master's of Science (M.S) in Periodontics at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine (2018). He is Board Certified in both Public Health Dentistry (2018) and Periodontology (2019). Dr. Shariff previously taught in the Division of Periodontics at Columbia and was a Faculty Implant Fellow. He is currently an Assistant professor in Periodontics, Director of Research, and Course Director of Implant CE program at Touro College of Dental Medicine at New York Medical College. He is passionate about clinical practice, and conducting clinical and epidemiological research in the field of Periodontics, General Dentistry and General Medicine. In his leisure time he enjoys riding his Ducati, playing tennis and fulfilling his travel bucket list of places to visit!
