About Jaidev Bapat
I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California San Francisco, studying mechanisms of therapy resistance and immunosuppression in ovarian cancer. I graduated with a PhD in Cancer Biology from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical campus in December 2023. My thesis looked at the role of the protein CASC4 in promoting high grade serous cancer dissemination and survival, with a focus on receptor recycling. I have extensive experience in developing hypotheses, developing and carrying out a research project, and comprehensive data analysis, and I am very passionate about oncology research.
