About Jaime Bishop
I am a currently a Special Education R.I.S.E. Teacher. I received my Teaching Certifications (EC-6 with STR, Special Education EC-12, ESL and PPR) through the rigorous Region 13 ACAP Program. This year I am continuing to work in the education field while obtaining a Master’s in School Psychology with the goal of being a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology. I have been awarded the Family Partnership Award three years in a row which is voted for by parents. I have also achieved Co-Teacher of the month in October 2017 and September 2019. I have also been nominated by my campus for Teacher of the Year. I enjoy being able to help Close Achievement Gaps and I pride myself on the fact that I was able to teach one of my students to read fluently, when it was believed he might not be able to. I would like to be remembered as a that person who made a positive impact on a child's life. So, I ask myself the question, how can I help shape his/her future? Education has and will always been important to me and being able to help shape their future ensures a better future for generations to come.
