Jaime Huffman is a seasoned hospitality and wellness professional with over 20 years of leadership experience in hospitality, education, and healthcare. Prior to joining Universal, she was responsible for overall leadership at The Spa at The Grove Park Inn, one of the most highly ranked spas in North America. For 14 years her strategic and innovative approach helped the Grove Park Inn’s $50-million, Spa become one of the most highly ranked in North America. Jaime's prior experience included operational and educational services in two hospital-based wellness centers, a medical/psychological group practice and in her own consulting business. Jaime holds a Master’s degree in Health Policy and Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.S. degree in Psychology/Health Behavior from Appalachian State University. She is a certified corporate speaker and has completed several business and management programs at Cornell, Harvard and the University of Chicago. Jaime has been a tremendous catalyst for positive change in the spa industry. She has served as President of the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards, on the Executive Committee of the International Spa Association (ISPA), as Chair of the North Carolina Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy, as an instructor for the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute and as an advisor for several colleges. She currently serves on the advisory board and as a professor for UC Irvine's Spa and Hospitality Management program. She has contributed to numerous industry textbooks that are used in spa management courses internationally. Jaime has worked with a host of prestigious clients, including Mandarin Oriental. She is a sought-after advisor, teacher, writer and speaker in the hospitality industry.
