Right out of college in 2010, I started working for Abercrombie and Fitch as a Manager in training. With in 6 months I was a store manager and looking across the pond to open new stores in Europe. Through an internal interview process I was chosen to go abroad and open a store in Germany as the General Manager. I moved to a country, not knowing the language and was expected to recruit and train local employees in the store processes. Through this adversity I was able to successfully open a store in Düsseldorf, Germany. After 10 months I was then again moved to Frankfurt, Germany to revamp and retrain the managers and employees, as the original General manager was not effective enough. This was crucial to get the store up to standard as the store was centrally located and had huge potential for financial sucess. I was able to successfully get the store back up to standard allowing for maximum profitability. This was by far the biggest store I had ran, 15+ managers and 200 associates. As my career in retail came to an end, I decided to staying the Germany for the reason most people do, the weather. No no, the real reason I stayed in Germany was due to LOVE. My boyfriend, now husband, and I decided It was time for us to venture out and open our very own CrossFit box which we did successfully. Our business grew to 200 members strong with in 4 years requiring 10 trainers and many business processing to be implemented to all the business to continue to thrive. This business catapulted my career with in CrossFit by opening a door to allow me to intern for their prectigious Seminar Staff. The failure rate was close to 90% at the time and after a very intense internship process, I was selected. I was now part of a very small group of people chosen to spread the word of CrossFit through the Level one Seminar. From 2014 to present I have had the opportunity to travel the world, from Asian to the middle East, teaching Crossfit to eager minds seeking to receive thier Level One Certificate.
