About Jaime Marquez

I am a Financial Advisor who is focused on building long term relationships based on trust and mutual understanding. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch I began a career in the financial industry back in 1997 in mortgage and consumer lending. From there I ventured onto Business Banking and Commercial Lending before making my final stop at Merrill Lynch in 2014. I concentrate in working with both affluent high net worth clients and business owners. My focus is on identifying a clients needs and objectives and establishing a strategy based on a clients risk tolerance and own set of financial goals. With my extensive Finance, Banking and Lending background I am able to leverage Bank of America, N.A.’s full breadth of financial services to fully provide personalized advice knowing each individual client and business has its own set of unique needs. Having the resources available through Merrill Lynch and Bank of America, N.A. allows me to build flexible customized strategies that can navigate through different cycles of the economy. Originally from Northern California, I relocated to Bakersfield for the sole purpose of being closer to my two daughters, Amaya who is six and Alinah, age three. I earned a B.S. degree from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly), San Luis Obispo, CA with a major in Speech Communication and concentration in Sales Management. On my downtime I enjoy spending it with my girls at the beach or in the great outdoors.
