Background

About Jaime Pujol

With two decades of experience, my passion lies in leading projects that promote sustainability in central and social urban regeneration. My main professional goal is to improve the quality of life in communities. Fluent in English, French, Italian, and Spanish, and having lived in eight countries, I hold dual Spanish and Chilean nationality and strive to integrate a multicultural perspective into the urban challenges I engage with. Several initiatives I have led have been awarded prizes. At the Municipality of Santiago, I currently head the Housing Department, coordinating efforts to address the commune's record quantitative housing deficit and promoting its comprehensive development. My experience extends to teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, where I contribute to training future professionals committed to urban development.
