Has rich experience in field work at a territorial level with local communities and indigenous peoples in diverse regions of Colombia, especially the Amazon and the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta, with multiple ethnic groups (such as the Macuna, Tanimuka, Letuama, Matapí, and Yucuna in the North-East Colombian Amazon; the Miraña, Bora, Okaina, Muinane, Uitoto and the Andoque in the central Colombian Amazon; the Cofán, Inga, and Kamentsá in the Andes-Amazon region; and the Wiwa, Arhuaco and Kogui in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, amongst others).
