About Jaime Shafer

A little about me. I like to create things and I like to solve problems. I am a resourceful professional with a unique blend of technical and creative skills. With broad experience in IT, e-commerce, data management, and the creative arts, I excel at solving problems and creating innovative solutions. I am proficient in taking concepts and turning them into reality while simplifying complex technical ideas to bridge the gap between technology and people. On one hand, I'm a very left-brained person. I know my way around the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), I can build SQL databases with PHP front ends, and I can analyze data and make it easy to read and visually appealing. I also love finding solutions to challenges. On the other hand, I'm a very right-brained person. I’ve been drawing ever since I can remember, painting and experimenting with every craft supply known to mankind, and seriously playing with yarn and fiber since the early 90’s. I started Sleeping Pond Studio to share my creative journey with my tribe. My mission is to create the most authentic art from my heart to spark joy and comfort in the hearts of people who need it the most. Or put another way, I make little art to make your space smile.
