About Jaime V.

I have a profound passion for people and public service, evident in my active involvement in numerous public committees and community programs aimed at enhancing the safety, health, and vibrancy of our region. Over the course of my career, I have cultivated extensive networks spanning government, academia, nonprofits, and businesses, enabling me to collaborate effectively with individuals from all walks of life. What drives me most is the opportunity to work collaboratively with others to tackle the complex challenges facing Long Island.Outside of my professional commitments, I cherish spending quality time boating or engaging in outdoor activities with my husband and children. My family also enjoys dining on fine cuisine, cooking yummy food together, visiting museums, learning about different beliefs and cultures, traveling, spending time with extended family and lifelong friends, and engaging in home renovations and decorating wherever we live. We love watching movies, especially political thrillers, action movies, and docudramas. Additionally, we are devout Catholics, and our faith plays an integral role in our lives, guiding our values and principles.
