Tax and Investment in Equities! These are the areas in which I had started developing my interest and passion when I was in my 10th Grade. While studying in 10th Grade, for the first time, I came to know about income tax as we had a small chapter on basics of income tax in our curriculum. It also intrigued and fascinated me for the first time in 10th Grade, when I made a profit of more than 100% within 6 months of investment into an equity stock of a small-cap company from my piggy saving of Rs 1600.So, that is how it all started with tax and investment in equities and became my passion today.I had started my career in tax with specializing in International Tax, Transfer Pricing and Expatriate Tax, though without having any prior experience in such areas. However, my personality of diving into uncertainties and still excelling, helped me showcase my competency in such areas.My relentless hunger for learning and an autonomous work environment helped me prove my professional skills and setting myself apart along with working in a team with a great team spirit. This helped me in gaining confidence of my leaders at the firm which resulted into an opportunity to test my skills by being part of a team handling some of the most complex client assignments.I also love travelling and adventure sports wherein white-water rafting and trekking are my personal favorites. Rafting is a sport involving co-ordination amongst team members and I always prefer to take a lead in the most challenging paths from the front, just like I always take up a lead seat in the raft while going for a rafting on the most challenging route. On the other hand, while on a trek with the group, I always take everyone along by ensuring to help each other to reach at the desired destination in the assigned time. Apart from this, I often read autobiographies and biographies of businessmen and industrialists.I am always interested in connecting with people and building a strong network.
