I am an experienced Site Reliability Engineer and Application Support Lead, specialising in creating robust observability environments and automating processes that enhance user experience while minimising manual intervention. My expertise includes exposing metrics, logs, and traces to observability endpoints, allowing for insightful analysis through the correlation of these pillars. I have designed and developed centralised observability boards that encompass application infrastructure, data availability, SLI/SLO/Error-Budget monitoring, seamlessly integrating to in-house alerting systems and to PagerDuty. Proficient in visualisation tools such as Grafana and Splunk, I track and optimise key metrics like Mean Time To Resolution (MTTR), Mean Time Between Tickets (MTBT) and Mean Time To Acknowledgment (MTTA). In Application Support, I have developed production support frameworks and led automation initiatives across various Finance areas, mentoring teams throughout Asia and Europe. My passion lies in driving automation to eliminate human TOIL and enhance system reliability.
