About Jake Aplin

Over the past 11 years I have been fortunate enough to serve as a firefighter for the Department of Defense, specifically the Air Force. This experience has been the keystone to my professional development and has encompassed so much more than deploying hose lines. During my professional career I have led as many as 22 firefighters as a Station Chief in a war zone. Led 30+ programs as a department program manager, taken command of major multiagency responses. Sold proposals on response criteria to the United States Army. Trained, promoted, and mentored dozens of airmen and firefighters, and polished myself as a proven leader by leading from the front, as well as the back when appropriate. As I aim to change the trajectory of my career, I assure that I’m ready to take on the challenges your business’ face, and will do so with a positive and unwavering attitude. I have developed the skills you need through years of service and dedication to our country and the public safety of our communities, and will be a great addition to your team.
