About Jake Ashton

Starting out as an aspiring young coach I grew to grasp every opportunity in football I could get hold of. I am a Sports Coaching Bsc (Hons) graduate from Southampton Solent. Currently employed as the Coaching & Workforce Development Officer at Hampshire FA, alongside a coaching role at Southampton FC. Previous Sports Coach at St Bede’s Catholic Primary School, Recreational Football Development Officer at Hampshire FA. Actively working towards UEFA B and a proud holder of a Level 2 Football Coaching Qualification, Youth Module 2, Futsal Level 1, Multi-Skills Level 2 and various other coaching/refereeing related qualifications. Taking advantage of every opportunity presented to me, has granted me vast experiences in international coaching, refereeing in Futsal and grassroots football, as well as having playing experience in both variations of the game. My journey is ever-growing and I envisage myself as an established member of the football industry in coaching and development.
