About Jake Babic

Former professional basketball player turned business development professional, with a passion for connecting people, building meaningful relationships, and contributing to the growth of sport in Canada. After five years playing professionally in Europe and the CEBL — I’ve transitioned from the court to the front office, now working at The Sales Factory, helping brands grow through strategic outbound outreach. At the same time, I stay close to the game by coaching high-performing youth athletes and mentoring the next generation of players. I’ve had opportunities to step into coaching roles at the collegiate and professional levels, and I’m continually looking for ways to merge my love for sport with my skills in communication, relationship-building, and business development. I hold a Master’s in Communication, and I’m always eager to connect with others working at the intersection of sport, business, and community impact.
